Do you live in Canton, Towson or Rodgers Forge? The MTA's #11 bus links all three to the Harbor East area. You can catch the #11 line on Boston Street and in eight minutes you'll be in Harbor East! You can also catch the other end of the #11 line on Bellona Ave and ride the bus to work in Harbor East.

Maryland Transit Administration (MTA), the State's Transit agency is a multi-modal agency providing several types of transportation services.


Here's an overview of their services:


The MTA has 50 local bus lines serving the Baltimore region. These lines carry more than 200,000 people every day. The #11 line is most convenient for the Harbor East area. This line connects the Towson and Timonium communities to Harbor East and Canton. Service runs about every ½ hour along Fleet Street between President Street and Boston St.


The MTA has contracts with private companies to provide 7 Commuter Bus routes in the Baltimore Region. This premium express service is provided to and from the suburbs to downtown Baltimore in coach-type buses during peak periods.
